Sander specialises in technology, data protection and digital regulation. He advises companies and organisations on complex technology projects, IT and data-driven collaborations, privacy and data protection, AI and emerging European digital regulation.
Sander has extensive experience in negotiating complex technology and data agreements and in developing pragmatic governance and compliance frameworks for innovative technologies. He acts as a trusted adviser to technology companies, start-ups and scale-ups as well as established organisations navigating digital transformation, AI and increasingly complex regulatory requirements.
Sander holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Ghent (2011) and additional Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Leuven (2012).
Sander is a certified Data Protection Officer (Data Protection Institute, 2017) and regularly speaks and publishes on technology, data protection, AI and digital regulation.
Sander joined the Bar in 2012 and co-founded Nuans in 2022.
