Laurens Matthys is an associate in the Corporate and M&A team of Nuans Law. He advises clients on a broad range of corporate transactions and general corporate law matters, including M&A deals, strategic investments, shareholder-related questions, and commercial agreements. Combining strong legal expertise with a business-oriented mindset, Laurens supports companies and entrepreneurs throughout different stages of growth and transformation.
Laurens obtained his Master of Laws from Ghent University in 2018 and subsequently completed a Master in General Management at Vlerick Business School. Before joining Nuans Law in 2026, he
gained experience at a leading M&A boutique law firm and worked at a legal tech start-up, where he was involved in strategy and Series A-funding matters. He also gained experience in innovation and product management through earlier roles in the financial sector.
