Sigrid De Ro is an associate at Nuans, focusing on data protection, cybersecurity and intellectual property law. She advises clients on a broad range of privacy and technology-related matters, including GDPR compliance, AI-related legal questions and digital governance. She also occasionally provides GDPR awareness trainings to clients.
Sigrid combines a strong academic background with hands-on experience in both data protection and intellectual property matters, gained through internships and legal work in specialized privacy, technology and IP practices. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Ghent University and an Advanced Master in IP & ICT Law from KU Leuven, where she further deepened her expertise in innovation-driven legal topics.
She is also a certified Data Protection Officer (DPI) and regularly participates in advanced training programmes to stay at the forefront of developments in data protection, technology and digital
regulation.
